Great dog friendly pub, very busy at the weekend. Definitely need to prebook if you want to eat there. Iv heard the food is excellent.
Our after funeral gathering was in a sectioned area of the pub. The staff were all helpful, professional and friendly. The buffet was very good and all in all I was very pleased. A lovely pub and thank you to all management and staff.
I have had some good burgers here. Beer choices are kinda limited though. Nice interior and a big car park. This place is dog friendly.
There are two managers there, a female with long dark hair and a balding white male. They don't appear to like dog walkers. They never make you feel welcome. There repeat attitude has become a jest in our group.Today we came we our Irish in-laws and they were not impressed by the way we were treated and they never had been before, nor had we told them what this place can be like before we entered. Anyway we left without even buying a drink and took our custom to elsewhere. There is never a free table there at 1200hrs as they are all reserved, and they won't let you use a table reserved for 1400hrs if your there at 1200hrs. We have previously reserved, but when you are coming at 1130hrs you don't see the issue. There isn't an area for not reserved dinning.Also the food is not as good as it once was. We move around each week as we like to do our big dog walk in different locations and we different groups.Today was the last straw for us going to this place. 2 years ago I rated this place 5 stars. Now just 1.
